2 of Widayat’s children followed their conscience. They refused to accept a number of paintings that Haji Widayat stated must remain at Museum Widayat. The family of the late Hendro Wardoyo and Agung Wijonarko declined to receive paintings that were taken from the museum on 10th January 2013. On 18th January 2013, both of them returned 37 paintings back to Museum Widayat.
