Born in 1970, I Wayan Rumantara learned painting since he was 12 years old from I Ketut Sana, the pioneer of Keliki mini painting. As a character of Keliki school, Rumantara’s paintings are also very delicate in details. He likes to depict themes derived from Balinese daily life, for example: cockfighting and dancing scenes.
